Terms of Service
Effective September 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using TinShe Mirage ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. "You" means the individual or entity using the Service.
The Service
TinShe Mirage provides a free, mock OpenAI-compatible image generation API intended for software development and testing purposes only. The Service returns pre-made placeholder images — it does not perform real AI image generation. No warranties are made as to the suitability, accuracy, or completeness of images returned.
Free service — no warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, or data retention. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
Rate limits and fair use
You are allocated 200 requests per UTC day per API key. Rate limits may change at any time. You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, for example by creating multiple accounts.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in production applications as a substitute for a real image generation service
- Resell, sublicense, or charge others for access to the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download images beyond normal API use
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Share API keys with untrusted parties
Image content and licensing
Images served by the Service are sample stock content. They are provided for development and testing purposes only and are not licensed for production, commercial, or public-facing use unless explicitly stated otherwise. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate licensing before using any image in a deployed application.
API keys
You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. We store only a one-way hash of your key; if you lose it, you must regenerate it. Keys may be suspended or revoked for abuse without notice.
Account suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in any activity that harms other users or our infrastructure. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TinShe and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed USD $0, reflecting that the Service is provided free of charge.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TinShe from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — to be completed]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [jurisdiction].
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
